Can I really take part in rhino conservation?
When projects are running, guests can witness and sometimes support monitoring and notching work. Availability is seasonal and project-dependent — we’ll tell you honestly what’s possible for your dates.
Is it ethical to get close to rhino?
When done through legitimate conservation programmes, controlled access supports the animals’ protection. We only work with responsible, established projects.
Where is the best place to see rhino?
Several private reserves offer excellent, responsible rhino viewing. We’ll recommend the right one for your trip.
Hands-on rhino conservation
When projects are active, guests may be able to witness or support rhino monitoring and notching, and learn first-hand about the anti-poaching work that keeps these animals alive. It’s a privilege, handled with care and never intrusive to the animals.
