Zimbabwe is Southern Africa’s hidden gem, home to some of the continent’s most remote and unspoilt national parks, an incredible variety of wildlife and birdlife, and some of the most phenomenal private luxury lodges in Africa.

When it comes to an authentic Big 5 African safari, few safari destinations can compete with Zimbabwe’s impressive reputation for unrivalled game viewing opportunities while drawcards like Lake Kariba, Hwange National Park and Victoria Falls, one of the 7 natural wonders of the world, add to Zimbabwe’s legacy as one of the continent’s top safari destinations.

In addition to Zimbabwe’s impressive array of prolific wildlife and astounding natural beauty, the Zimbabwean people are among the most friendly and welcoming people you may ever have the privilege of meeting and will ensure that your stay is more than memorable.

Victoria Falls

Explore the seventh wonder of the world, whilst enjoying pure luxury at the Victoria Falls Hotel.

Popular activities include scenic flights over the falls in helicopters or microlights, bungee jumping off the Victoria Falls Bridge, white-water rafting (seasonal) and day trips to Chobe National Park.

Hwange National Park

Home to a profusion of wildlife, including giraffe, lion, zebra and approximately 40 000 elephants.

It provides a sanctuary for all the country’s endangered species, including a population of wild dogs thought to be among the most sizeable surviving groups on the continent.

The park’s magnificent terrain ranges from desert dunes, savannah lands and mopane woodlands to rocky outcrops and sparse forests. Little Makalolo Camp and Linkwasha Camp are our preferred lodges here.

Mana Pools National Park

A UNESCO World Heritage Site, visitors can look forward to an array of activities such as canoe trips which are offered year round and provide a unique and memorable way for visitors to experience the area’s striking scenic beauty and diverse fauna, while guided walks are a great way to take in its pristine riverside forests.

Other popular activities include; game drives, river cruises, nature walks, bird watching, catch-and-release fishing, and searching for dinosaur tracks. Our preferred lodge here is the Ruckomechi Camp.

Lake Kariba

Lake Kariba, nestled between Zambia and Zimbabwe, is a vast man-made reservoir formed by the Zambezi River dam. Known for exceptional fishing and wildlife, it offers diverse activities, from angling to wildlife safaris.

The displaced Tonga people add a unique cultural dimension, and houseboat cruises provide a serene escape on its tranquil waters. With its iconic hydroelectric dam, Lake Kariba seamlessly combines natural beauty with human ingenuity for an unforgettable experience.
