‘All-inclusive’ means different things at different lodges, so here’s a clear, honest breakdown of what a luxury safari typically covers — and what usually sits outside the rate. No surprises is part of the luxury.
And a few things are included with Ranger Buck that you won’t find on a rate sheet at all.
Typically included
At the luxury level, your nightly rate usually covers a great deal:
- Accommodation in your suite or tent.
- All meals — often superb, and plentiful.
- Most drinks, including house wines and spirits.
- Twice-daily game drives with a guide and tracker.
- Park and conservation fees.
- Most transfers within the itinerary.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does ‘all-inclusive’ cover drinks?
At most luxury lodges, yes — typically house wines, spirits and soft drinks. Premium wines and champagne are usually extra. We’ll confirm per lodge.
Are international flights included?
Usually not — they’re generally quoted separately. We can arrange them for you or work alongside flights you book.
What’s the Travel Key app?
Ranger Buck’s own trip app that lays out every day of your journey — flights, transfers, drives and dinners — so you always know what’s next. Guests love it.
Usually extra
Some things generally sit outside the rate, and we’ll always make them clear up front:
- International flights to and from Africa.
