It’s ‘Miller-Time’ for Ranger Buck Safaris

Legendary South African white-ball cricketer David Miller has added another impressive score to his growing list of milestones by joining forces with Ranger Buck Safaris. The Pietermaritzburg-born 31-year-old, who has a passion for adventure when he’s not hammering sixes on cricket fields the world over, is the latest big-name signing for Archie Rutherford and his Ranger Buck Safaris squad.

Miller has played over 200 international cricket matches for South Africa, and recently led the Proteas to an epic 2-1 come-from-behind T20I series victory over England, in England. He is regarded as one of the biggest hitters in the game and was instrumental in guiding the Gujarat Titans to the 2022 Indian Premier League title, scoring an undefeated 32 in his side’s victory over the Rajasthan Royals in the final.

Miller is understandably a man in demand and spends much of his time plying his trade for teams across the globe, but his undying love for the African bush ensures that he returns home whenever possible to enjoy the best that the country has to offer. It was thus hardly surprising that he put pen to paper in a partnership with Ranger Buck Safaris.

“I’m fortunate to have seen some of the most beautiful places on earth, but none come close to what Africa, and in particular, South Africa has to offer. Archie and his team then take it to the next level by offering exclusive luxury safaris that showcase the best of the continent. Being presented with the opportunity to represent such a prestigious brand was an offer I simply couldn’t refuse. I have a passion for conservation, and this aligns with the core values of the team at Ranger Buck Safaris.”

Miller adds his name to an extremely high-profile group of Ranger Buck Safaris ambassadors that include former Springbok World Cup-winning captain John Smit, 2009 Dakar Rally champion Giniel de Villiers and Tour de France combatant Daryl Impey.

Ranger Buck Safaris owner Rutherford was delighted with his latest acquisition.

“David is one of the most exciting cricketers on the planet and we were absolutely thrilled to get him on board. His love for Africa and conservation makes him the perfect person to represent Ranger Buck Safaris.”
